I had high hopes for the Toyota 86 till they decided putting a Subaru engine in it.

I had high hopes for the Supra, till they decided putting a BMW engine in it.

My last hope was the LR Defender, till they turned it into a watered down Range Rover.

I settled with a Tacoma TRD ORP when I turned 50.

    It’s not a midlife crisis, it’s a hobby.

So far, the 4Runner. But, it was supposed to be a sports car. I'm thinking about getting a Z in a few years.

Great GT cars. To get a Z sports car, need to go back to 70s IMHO

The late 80's and 90's weren't great. But, the 370 seems like a good overall vehicle, and the 400 looks awesome!

But, yeah, an early to mid 70's Z would be nice!

Here was my mid-life crisis conveyance when I retired from the USAF in 2011 (44 yrs old), first bike ever owned!:

Then I calmed down and went to this in 2012:

I would love to own the 1967 Fastback I learned to drive stick-shift on...

If you search they may be putting the 1.6L 3cyl gr motor in for 2025 I think they getting rid of the Subaru relationship and only giving this model a few years.

Toyota owns 20% of Subaru. Land Rover is owned by Tata.

Spent a good portion of my working years working on what now would be called classics, Porsche, Jag, MB, Alpha's nothing but exotics in there day. Then I got a clean job working for the PD and retired in 2011 so I perfectly happy with my Tacoma!

    DUDE!

I'd always wanted a motorcycle but never had the chance to own one...until I could.

Wife & daughters were totally against it....which made me want it even more.

I sold it after 6 months...had one close call incident that could have been drastically bad...

The next owner, tragically passed away racing away from Dover's Finest in just two weeks!

I would later get a call from someone who was trying to buy it but needed more info...of course I helped. He brought it back to life and added an extended swing arm. He was happy with it.

The 1982 GS750T was an excellent replacement that was much better for me.
