I’m a man of simple tastes, so either a late model S2000 with a hard top, or a 1993 Mustang GT Cobra in the sexy af teal colorway.
    Edit:
I may have misunderstood the thread meaning, I don’t own either, but if I were to have a midlife crisis and had the means, one of these lil darlins would be in my garage.

My new Tacoma is kind of a mid-life crisis car. I needed a vehicle for work and was drawn to the Tacoma since it brought back memories of my old truck that I regret selling - for an Altima of all things. I bought this new in 1994 when I got out of the Army. I think this picture was taken in the summer of ‘94. Driving the taco makes me think of it every time.26770188-5C73-4E59-9DA6-394E30395AFE.jpg

Since I turned 40, I've been through two F150 Raptors and now have a 4-door Bronco. The first Raptor was totaled and the second traded on the Bronco that I waited on forever. All fun vehicles to drive. Just bought a Tacoma as an extra vehicle and it's a great little truck.

I just purchased this last month. It's the base model, but I just want to have a few smiles and don't need anything more powerful. Yet.
The JK in the background was last spring's impulse purchase. I'm not quite done my doors/top off foot on foot peg driving, but plan on selling it late this summer and use those funds as the "Cayman maintenance fund".

Age 36 I bought a used corvette. Had it for a few months and had fun. Wasn't practical for my needs and sold it.

I guess I'm a bit odd, my mid 40's crisis car was a '96 Jag XJ6. It looked like a sedan, but it drove like a sports car :)

While that would be pretty awesome, a mechanic I know told me, if you can't afford a new BMW, you certainly cannot afford a used one!

    Cheers!

I took my 991.1 to the dealer which is something I almost never do because they’re high on crack and charge ungodly labor rates, but I needed some hard to find screws and I wanted to make sure they fit and they just offered to buy it for $65,000 even though it has 140,000 miles on it and a clapped out racing suspension. from what it sounds like you can’t buy a new 911.

Funny that I came across this thread as I was thinking about this over the weekend. As of now, I have three vehicles in my mind as a MLC buy:

-Ford HD250/350, white, 4x4, double cab, long-bed, dually.
-Ferrari (not sure about the model.)
-Some type of Hot-Rod with a V-8 engine and a carb, thus NO COMPUTERS on board.
