Finally got around to bedlining the bumper. Still have to finish the swing outs, but it's ready to be mounted...

Not yet. Planned on doing it this last weekend, but got sidetracked with yard work and other projects. Still just sitting in the garage. Hopefully one day this week after work.

The wv in @wvlexus is West Virginia i believe...

I don’t have the swingouts done yet, just the main bumper body. I'm probably only gonna run the tire swingout and leave the gas can swingout off unless I plan on longer trips where the extra fuel is needed.

@yeos recently got the whole coastal bumper completed and installed. He might be able to post more pics of the complete assembly.

I want to like the coastal offroad bumper but I just can’t. Haven’t found the perfect bumper yet, but I am liking the 4x4labs bumper more and more though.

Finally made it out to uwharrie. Had a great time out there. Almost ripped off my bumper. Poser rock was a fail.

Yeah, the coastal isn't for everyone. Cost and lead times were my main reasons. The fact that you have to cut the stock bumper cover to fill the gaps is the biggest downside of the coastal for me. If cost and lead time weren't a thing, I'd probably go with the Metal Tech Pegasus. For some reason, I really like the built in steps...

I like the side step of the metal tech but it just looks like it is super heavy.

If weight was one of my primary concerns, I probably wouldn't have gotten a GX. That may change with the RTT installed, bigger tires etc...

After coming back from Moab I too removed the fuel carrier swingout and run only the tire swingout unless I go on a trip where I need extra fuel. I can also put my 5lb propane tank inside of the fuel carrier and strap it down.

I was all up for getting the 4x4 labs rear bumper until I found out that I have to cut out the rear section of the frame to install it. Sure it makes their bumper tuck into the body so much more, but I just wasn't ready to do such a thing.

I like the victory 4x4 one. If and when I get a rear bumper that’s the one I’ll probably go with.

Hey @Gen1FTMFW, did you have to remove the plastic vent covers? Thanks!

You do not remove those vents. When fitting up the bumper it will ride on top of those vents so you have to be careful there, but once you install a few bolts the bumper will clear.

@yeos nailed it. Mine got a little chewed up during fitment, but the clear once the bumper is installed.
