Is it a single speed transfer case? As in no 4lo? Is the center diff lock automatic? I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee for awhile with a single speed t-case, full time AWD. I'm thinking it's like that perhaps.

What kind of rear bumper are you working with? Got anymore pics, with the tire carrier?

Looking good! Get some superbumps to replace the crappy stock bumpstops.

Do you guys find the rear door to be annoying? I'm considering this and the 4th gen V8 runner and I'm not sure how I feel about that door vs a hatch on the 4runner.

Doesn’t bother me, you get used to it.
4Runner door would be nice for rain.

Agreed. The only time it has bothered me is when I pile shit on my hitch mounted cargo carrier too high and I can't open the door all the way. Like most things, it has it's positives and negatives.

Good to know. I'll have to take some measurements since I will be towing a bit and it would be nice to open the door with the trailer attached still.

I wish they made these for the KDSS models. Skid plate selection variety for the KDSS models is slim pickens.
