I feel like I've asked you this before, but what rear bumper is that?

Did you have to cut the original bumper cover or was it completely bolt on? I've been looking at the Coastal Offroad DIY bumper, but it involves cutting the upper wings off the top side of the stock bumper and leaving them in place. Also, I see that you have a spring conversion in the rear, no bags?

No trimming complete bolt on, and I’m glad when I smashed my door that upper part of the bumper took a good hit as well.A75E760D-4E56-43BA-A3FE-9CB2FE9EC5C7.jpg

Yeah, you can see on these pics how Coastal wants you to trim the bumper...

I definitely like how the ENTIRE bumper cover is replaced with the new bumper. I don't see that bumper on the SSO site, got a link or a contact? I have the skills and a welder and prefer the DIY option, but really prefer the full replacement option that SSO offers.

E3D8FF0F-CFEC-416F-B5BE-667E83BC6FD6.jpg Didnt know there was a 470 thread here. Sold my 18 tacoma and bought this off a friend. 2005 sport w/kdss 180k miles. Plastidipped the grill since the chrome and paint were all jacked up from chips/bug juice and have the fogs pulled to see about putting s2 ambers in the housing. bronze 17x8.5 wheels are sitting in a box, still debating on tires (wildpeak at3w or toyo open country AT3 in 285/70r17 E rated) and planning on ordering dobinsons medium load 2" lift sometime this month with the 15% off at apache

Yes. Welcome to the club. I love my sport. The trim package is what sold me on the sport, the KDSS is just a plus in my mind. Plenty of support on this thread/forum for the GX platform. Keep us updated with your progress.

I roll with 265/70/17 E rated Wildpeak AT3's on my normal wheels, with Bridgestone Blizzak's for the winter (see a few posts above). I've had a multitude of tires between my Tacoma and the GX. From BFG KO's, KO2's, Cooper STT MAXX, Cooper STT Pro's etc. I absolutely love the AT3's. They are quiet, they balance well and are also wearing very evenly. My only complaint is that they don't do the best in snow and ice (hence why I have a separate set of wheels/tires).

Damn these things are so good in the snow, yours must be unstoppable on blizzaks.

It does pretty good. I'm not entirely sure my ABS works though. I'm not throwing any lights or codes, but I locked it up on snow/ice a few times last year, even with the Blizzaks.

I think if you have the center diff locked it turns off traction control and ABS

Center diff lock wasn't engaged. Will have to fuck around with it some more this winter. Aside from the lock ups, you are right with it being pretty unstoppable...

That bronze is so hot. I think I’m still gonna stick with black RPT1’s but damn that does look good.
