    Howdy everyone!

I'm fixing to get larger wheels and a set of tires. I have been very happy with Les Schwab in the past and have been looking at their Open Range A/T tires and Crusher 195SB wheels. I've read good things on TW about the tires but haven't seen anything about the wheels. Anybody out there have experience with them? Anybody around PDX who would have some suggestions for getting a new set of wheels/tires/both?

The biggest draw of Les Schwab for me is that I'll be going up to AK for the summer (maybe semi-permanently) and they have shops in Anchorage as well as everywhere else in the PNW.

I posted a more extensive inquiry about tires, wheels, and a lift over in the wheel and tire forum.

Hi! I live in the PDX area too and have been looking to upgrade my Wheel/Tire package-- I'm kind of in the same boat as you not knowing where to go for this. Ive had really good luck with America's Tires for years with my cars (price and service wise) but not sure if theyre the most knowledgeable when it comes to sizing up my Taco. Please let me know if you find something you like!

Was just at Beaverton Toyota for a service visit. Their tire guy told me they are having a tire sale. Buy 4 for price of 3. Quoted me $860 for four KO2. Just an FYI.

Apologies for taking so long to offer up my thanks for the info. I had a familial issue that has kept me busy.

I'll for sure keep these places in mind when I'm back in PDX. Just made it up to Alaska for the summer season. Before leaving, I was fortunate enough to be in contact with board member Nito who graciously gifted me a set of 16s with serviceable tires. But I'll be fixing to get new ones sooner than later since I figure on making a lot of miles up here this summer. It's a big state with plenty to explore!
