So I got new bearing assemblies for both sides awhile back, but haven't replaced them yet. My friends dad has a shop and will press my bearings for free, but I never ordered the oil seals or O rings. Do you happen to know the exact part numbers for both of these so I can order them or pick them up somewhere? Thanks

They must not be making bearings like they used to, my 98 4Runner with 199K miles is still running on the original front wheel bearings.

Where does the o ring go? Do they put it on when they press the hub? Do they put on the outer seal too?

just did mine today, couldn't find a 35mm so I bought a 36mm. It works but 35 would be much better!

Great job... adding the link to this in my "Tacoma-->Maintenance" bookmarks. Now I understand the previous writeups about getting a shop to remove the old and press in the new bearing. On past other brand vehicles I have been able to buy the entire assembly with a bearing already in place. More expensive than just a plain bearing but then you avoid the bearing pressing hassles and costs. I guess Toyota doesn't supply the complete assembly with bearing or if they do it must be very $$.

Didn't trust me? It was a 35 we used when I replaced my axle and front diff bearing.

(just giving you a bad time. I know it makes me nervous when I see different answers)
