For the 4x2 guys who are reading the write ups on this forum, and who are doing this themself for the first time ...dont get the 35 mm socket that is in the write up thread. Made the mistake of buying a $20 socket.
Felt like an idiot when I saw that there was no nut in the middle of the bearing, then thought "you idiot you have a prerunner"

You may also want a rubber mallet or if you have a metal one it works fine too. Use it to hit between the studs to knock the rotar off...if yours is anything like mine it will take (a bunch of soft, scared to mess Shit up hits) then finally follwed by a few good hits.

Also, before removing the old hub assembly, you may want to use some WD40 on the 4 bolts holding the hub assembly to the spindle. Let it sit a while and then try to break it loose. Breaking those 4 bolts loose was the hardest part of the whole deal...come to think of it taking the rotar off was pretty hard too

And another thing that I noticed was the old crappy hub bearing assembly was easy to rotate. Almost had no resistance and I could also hear noise coming from it.
The new hub bearing assembly however, did have resistance when trying to turn which is a good thing. It does turn but not as easy as the old crappy bearing.

Just wanted to share my experience. Sorry I don't have a write up.

As far as the process of ordering the hub assembly, it was very easy! A couple clicks and it was done. Got it a week later and it's on the truck now! Kevin (Nj636) answered any questions I posed to him through the TW forum within a reasonable amount of time too. The whole process was smooth. Very pleased!
Thanks for providing this service Kevin

No more noise and the ride feels like there is less vibs now too! :burnrubber::woot:

Btw the old bearing does have a stud missing. It was stripped when I went for a tire rotation one time.

Received an Email from Paypal on monday with shipment info, hopefully I receive to do this weekend.

One stupid question on the CV dust seal to double check since I have not done one previously, it gets removed and put on from the the backside of the spindle, yes? It appears so but I wanted to double check since I won't be able to see it until I get everything apart and did not want to be surprised.

Nevermind, I saw it in the other thread, it goes in from the backside, there is no way it could go in otherwise...

Should I have put anti sieze on the back of the hub where the hub flange meets the spindle?
    Just wondering if others did

If there was any on it before than it didn't help much anyway. Still took a good bit of beating to get that old hub assembly off

Tracking says mine are here in Hampton NB...... Yessssss. Now the gamble to see if they left them on my deck (as my mail lady often does) or if I have to hunt them down at the post office...lol.
