Ok I'll reply to this in a professional manner.

    This assembly is not "damaged".

This is a Pre Runner assembly. The Pre Runner has a nut that is torqued onto the hub flange. After the nut is torqued, the lip on the nut is staked down into the groove on the hub flange, as it is in the picture.

There is nothing wrong with this hub.

If ANYONE is not happy with their hub assembly and has not installed it, send it back and I'll refund your money.

    SURE IS A STAKED NUT

I don't build or sell shit, I don't do poor work. I would not ship anything out that I wouldn't put on my personal vehicle.

IMO I would say I have to agree with the OP. Yes, it does seem a little extreme compared to something I would put out, BUT these are clearly aftermarket parts (which I don't see a problem with) and they tend to respond differently than a factory part might. When using factory parts, there is a SMALL spot that we dimple in for securing it, but you can tell the hub is definitely different on these than a factory one and to me it looks as though the area to be dimpled is in fact larger than that of a factory one. Again, that's just my .02, but I see no problem with it, visually speaking, I can only judge so much by a picture.

I think you owe an apology, as well as the others for spewing nonsense about something you are completely clueless about.

as far as a comment? it's been worked out with the mods.

IM the one who started it, actually. After the antics brought into the other thread, then seeing this, I had had enough. I don't feel any apologies are required at this point, as the initial door was opened by the OP.

Being aftermarket components, they may not sit the same way as factory parts would, they may be longer or shorter depending on the manufacturer. Again, just my .02 as Stefen is the only on that would be able to say if in fact they are truly pressed together properly or not. If he is unable to tell, he might want to run it by a machine shop or local dealer to verify before installing.

That wasn't mine, but that was my response to it that you saw. Either way, I am heading to bed and hope that this thread is still open in the A.M. for me to look at.

Again, that is all just my .02, take it as you guys will. I am not defending the OP in any way other than giving my opinion. What I will say, is the OP has offered a refund to Stefen if he sends it back, that seems good to me, just make sure the OP pays shipping as well.
