Do the bolts that mount to thr spindle require loctite? And if so, red or blue

Just ordered a pair of the 4x4s with extended studs. I'm thinking they shouldn't be too long as my SCS wheels are taking up more of the studs than the factory wheels. I have ET lug nuts now. Anyone have experience with this? I have to admit that I've only read 20 to 30 pages. I didn't see the answer.

Good question on the lugs. I have aftermarket wheels also and the stock lugs don't come all the way through the lug nuts.

I’d like to get a set ordered for my 2005 4x4. I just got some FN FX Pro rims, should I go with extended studs?
I imagine people are familiar with the FN FX Pro rims, any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

The bolts have a small amount of loctite on them already

1/2” longer studs should be fine. I’ll post a picture this afternoon on how far the shank sticks out of the rotor.

That’s about half of what will be completed for the week, waiting on more hub flanges to be delivered.

Bearing on the way (Thanks Kev). I'll be replacing the dust seals as well. Since I have to free the spindle of the ball-joint and tie rod end.... shouldn't I replace the ball joints while that deep into it.
