Kevin, for future reference: Is it possible to swap out the studs for longer ones on the bearing assembly or is it just easier to get one built that way for the specific application?
I ask because I may want to run a 1/4" or 1/2" spacer at a later date.
Thanks brother - still rolling smooth as silk on these hubs.

They can be installed with the assembly still on the truck. You can just knock them out with a mallet, and pull the new ones on with a lug nut or the stud installer.

Glad to hear your still rolling strong

Installed my new bearing on drivers side worked out awesome ! Took care of the loud roar noise I have heard for a month or so. The noise would go away when making right turns on the freeway.

    Nice and quiet now !!

    Thanks again.

I finally managed to replace my driver's side front bearing tonight. I was a little concerned because this was the first time I had ever attempted to do a 2nd gen Tacoma bearing, but all my worries were for naught. The biggest hassle was getting the wheel to break loose from the rotor. Once that was free, a few M8 bolts through the rotor busted its rust weld loose from the hub and I was on my way. I wish I had ordered the new bearing months ago!

It is nice to drive and not hear that constant low growl. Of course, the best part of all was saving myself over $500 by doing the work myself using the bolt-on assembly.

    Thanks yet again, Kevin!
