Yes, chances are they didn't torque the nut. Most shops that don't have the SST socket will just air chisel the nut to where the old stake mark was and restake it.

See how fast that will destroy a bearing.

This is why I cannot stress it enough to the 4x4 guys to torque the axle nut to 173 ft lbs

The wheel bearing is a wear item. Let's hope you get many miles out of them on your 2015.

    nice Frankenstrat

So about a year ago I bought some of these for my truck (different person not from nj636) and installed them thinking I'll have them for a while...Nope. Come this nov, my bearings where making a lot of noise and when I removed them all the grease had completely come out of the bearings and gone all over the spindles...(lasted 30k miles)
Had a local shop swap for new bearings because I couldn't afford to have the truck down for long...
A week later I get a alignment, bearings are all loose  but through all this Kevin had answered all my questions and kept constant contact with me so I paid him to make me 2 new assemblies and he shipped them asap.

End result. Nice and tight and spotless bearings. :woot: also added new rotors and pads
Thanks man. Freaking awesome dude to work with!!

once i get some more spare cash, ill be having kevin make me another spare set of these to keep for just in case

It's new......mods starting soon. Removed step bars so far. lol
I have not yet installed my units either but I received them a couple weeks back and I can tell just by the way Kevin packs these that he takes pride in what he does....I will be installing mine this week when I have time to go for my alignment.....finished product looks great, just like a factory unit would. Great job on these!

Thank you! I definitely take pride in my work. I'm glad I can help you guys out and make a job easier that would otherwise be an aggravation or you would be paying someone a good amount to do.

Are the wheel bearing on the 2005+ tacos a problem? Do they not last very long? How will I know my wheel bearings are done? Sorry for all these questions but it has been about 15 years since I dealt with wheel bearing issues....
