I pulled both of mine out after about 6 months to rebuild the rest of my suspension. The hub on the driver side had a ring of grease oozing out the back side of the bearing. Is this normal?

Had a big trip coming up and found a loose wheel bearing so I ordered one from the OP. I never realized just how bad the other bearing was until I put the new one in. Truck drives super smooth now. OP got the bearing shipped out pretty quick but USPS took a day longer than the estimated delivery date. That's the shipping business for you though. I still received the hub in time to get it put in the truck so both my truck and I are happy. Thanks again Kevin.

hey bud, a little bit of grease is quite normal. most every bearing has a bit of grease push out when I assemble them.

was the assembly still nice and tight?

no. you can remove the two lower ball joint bolts and swing the spindle out to replace the dust seal.
