I don't see how I could have possibly installed the new seal with the spindle on, at least not easily. It was only a couple extra bolts and gave me the opportunity to clean the spindle with a wire brush and brake cleaner.

Experience my friend experience! I really should start doing step by step picture instructions so when you guys go and do jobs like this you aren't wasting so much time and effort.

I wouldn't mind an explanation because I truly don't see how you could install it on the truck. I had to hammer pretty hard to get the new seal seated, and I don't see how that would have been possible on the truck since it's on the back side of the knuckle.

Take the lower ball joint loose caliper off etc. right. then swing the knuckle out and away to pull the axle out from inside the knuckle. Once that is done turn the wheel to the right if you are dong the left one to the left for the right. Then you can rotate the knuckle to face forward so you can get to the backside. Oh and the sway bar needs to be disconnected but most with lifts aren't running one so I left that out. I either have someone help hold the spindle or ratchet strap it so it stays the way I want it. I did it this way to get one installed at a mod day.

For anyone that is skeptical of this page like I was. This guy is good people. Customer service is far better than others. Bearings are super clean, super smooth, and this guy stands behind his work.
