Wheel Fitment Question Help

    Came across what seems to be a pretty good deal and am thinking about buying a set of MKW M63 wheels. They are a one-piece forged wheel that is gloss black. http://www.mkwalloy.com/wheel_fitment.asp?sea=wheel

    Specs on the wheel according to their website shows the following:
    17x8.5
    bolt pattern is 6x139
    4.75'' backspacing
    hub bore is 106.1mm

    The guy trying to sell them to me is telling me they will fit a tacoma's 6x5.5 bolt pattern and he is saying that the backspacing is 4.5''.

    They will most likely be going on my brother's truck once he gets the cash to pay me if he doesn't have enough today. I know 4.5'' backspacing is recommended but I know that I'm running 4.75 with no problems.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Ya, I was seeing the same info, so that made me second guess if the guy knew what he was talking about saying that they would fit.

    I know 4.5 is preferred but will 4.75 be ok?

    Ideally I would put my rim that is 17x8.5 w/4.75 backspacing on his truck to make sure, but I don't have time since the deal is supposed to happen today

    I would say if they didn't fit a simple wheel spacer would rectify it.
