For those 2nd Gen members with SCS Wheels, what type of wheel locks are you using? There's been a rash of wheel/tire thefts here in Honolulu, with Tacoma's being the primary targets. Although the thieves are targeting the Sport Wheels, you just never know. My Stealth 6's came with spline lugs, but anyone with a spline socket could steal them.

Just get 6 sets of different wheel locks for each tire and put them on if to your that worried about them going missing will be a pia for you to get them off but no way a robber is going to sit there and try to take off every different wheel lock

If someone is serious about stealing wheels they will have a lot of keys for wheel locks. Although I don't know which locking lug nuts would fit. Hopefully Vin can step in @SCSPerformance

What about 4 different sets of lugs for 4 different rims? Then if they steal them they'll have 4 wheels for 4 different sets of rims..... :notsure:

Haha I was messing around I'm not serious. It would be funny to see a truck with 4 different rims and 4 different types of lug nuts to take off....

The lugs that we carry and sell are 8-spline which isn't as common as your typical 6-spline lugs, but they still aren't considered wheel locks. Gorilla sells a spline wheel lock that will match well and offer a little extra security for the wheels(21631BC). However, this will only slow down someone that knows what they are doing. It's sad that there are bums out there that think it's OK to steal from others, but that's reality. Best thing you can do is have good car insurance so that if something does happen, you'll be compensated for the loss.

Thanks everyone for their input and thank you Vin @SCSPerformance for the Gorilla spline wheel lock part #. I'll run a set of those in conjunction with my SCS spline lugs.

The socket for the lock appear to be a bit large in diameter. It might damage the paint around the lug nut opening. SCS recommend you use the small/diameter spline drive socket. Such as this:

    https://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Automotive-21631BC-Chrome-Diameter/dp/B00C5SFYNI

This will give you more wiggling room when installing the wheel lock.
