Hey guys and gals, I have American Racing Outlaw ll wheels on my 2013 Tacoma and my left rear wheel looks like it might have pitting all over it. It is hard to tell if it is. The "pits" are duller than the rest of the finish and won't come off with normal washing. I live in Salt Lake City, UT area, and we have had a very mild winter so far, so not much salt has been used. The only thing I can think of is our HOA has landscapers that do snow removal, and they may have sprinkled the hell out of my rims. However I am not sure if this is pitting. Any ideas on how to see if I can remove this?

had the same problem. In Louisiana, so no salt on the road. Was only on the front wheels. Was thinking it may have been from hot brake dust. Could be wrong, but again, was only on the front.

Was on a 2001 Dakota, but same setup. Disk on front, drum rear.
