While flailing to manually calculate how my new wheels and tires altered stance from my OEM wheels, I realized it was pretty hard to accurately account for every single variable involved.

Then I stumbled upon this incredible tool, yay internet. Perhaps others have already found and used this tool ( it came up in only a couple TW search results), but I did not see it stickied, and I think it deserves a sticky. @tcBob

You can start by selecting from a huge number of OEM vehicle wheel specs (see the "List of car makes with wheels specs" halfway down the home page) and a custom spec to start out. Leg men get eye candy, too.

Then you can do detailed side-by side comparisons while tweaking a variety of parameters. (Note that the fender specs are not accurate, and I notified them of a bug where the tool did not bring in the OEM spec. Sigh. But if you know all wheel spec, you can enter info manually.)

@tcBob, they also have a website widget (a free version, and a paid version) you might want to check out to add to our toolbox:

It is still here, in the drop down for Mods/Tutorials
Thanks. I hope they get the glitch fixed so the specs pull right in from the OEM selections.

Just the other day I had a faint recollection that I'd posted this, and couldn't remember the name. You'd think that wheel size dot com would be pretty intuitive. LOL.

Reading all these tire sizes and maximum sizes vs offset vs spacing vs lift vs no lift just gives me more questions!
