I actually bought them off of Amazon. They’re Dynofit brand. They seem really solid and installation was a breeze. The threads off of the hub sit perfectly inside the spacer with no issues.

I do have some hubcentric rings on the way. These are 108mm but there are no vibrations at all. Feels like a factory ride. Maybe better with these tires actually lol

Just popped some spidertrax 1.25's on because the new 285/75's were grabby on the UCA.
I see people talking about putting a set on the back? Why? What function do they serve on the rear?

I don’t think it’s the function most folks are going for on the back. The look of a good offset and the wider stance. Which also gives slight handling and stability increases also. In my opinion ay least.

Also to maintain the same track width front and rear. not sure how much difference it makes in practice, but that's a reason.

So I am not into posting, never done it before, but this sites has helped me a lot the past few years. I know this is an old posting, however, I just put some spidertrax 1.25 on and they look great. It's exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a more aggressive look and a little bit wider stance and they work perfect. I will stay I wasn't expecting rubbing but there was, a 24 dollar investment in a hot air gun and I molted and melted the plastic back in towards the frame. So far so good. You guys also ask for pictures a lot so I hope I don't disappoint.

Side note I would love to get new wheels and tires along with a 3inch lift kit later down the road. My justification is that it's paid off, I not buying any new toys anytime soon and tacos usually last forever, so why the hell not spend a 3k on a look that makes my truck look mean and mine.

Yea, I would think so, unless your rims have the recesses, then you could go with the .75", and the wheels wont stick out as much... but if that doesn't matter to you, or if you want that for the looks, then yea, go with the 1".

I’ve been running 1.25” spidertraxx for over 100k and am off road maybe 5% of all that. I’ve had to replace my passenger wheel bearing and I have to replace my lower control arm ball joint and bushings soon. So the long term use does wear on the components faster. With all that said, I’m still running them and will continue to.

So... this may not be the thread to ask, but here goes. I noticed the bolt pattern for the wheels on our Jayco Hummingbird camp trailer is the same as our 2014 Tacoma. It occurred to me it'd be nice to have interchangeable spares. I pulled one of the trailer wheels and it bolted right up to the Tacoma, though I haven't driven on it. I measured the dish of both rims and it looks like I'll need a 1.5" spacer on the trailer to for the deeper Tacoma wheel to line up.

Is this nuts? Are there other considerations that I'm not aware of that would make this a bad idea?

I've been researching this more and found an interesting response at eTrailer here:

"... I do want to make you aware that the sidewall of a vehicle tire are not built as strong as the sidewall of a trailer tire, so overheating and blowouts could be more common..."

You know, for those of you following along...

My 2 cents is that I tried 1.25 " and hated the fact that I couldn't keep my mud flaps and stock look due to rubbing. I have 265 75 16 tires and just didn't work with my Bilstein 6122 5160 set up. Sad because I liked the look but took them off within 48 hours. Wheels spacers on the 3rd gen dclb just don't fit with the small wheel well. Hope my experience helps you all out.

You rubbed with that set up? You are the first person that has said that about that tire size and offset/spacer set up. Also with those shocks are you running at stock height?

Not arguing. Legitimately asking as I am keeping stock height with same tire size. Just want a little more aggressive stance.

Highest setting on the 6112's. Still rubbed like crazy!!! Don't do it! You will be totally bummed.

I just installed Spidertrax 1.25 spacer on my method wheels 16x8 0-offset with 285/75/16 BFG Ko2’s. The stance looks awesome however now I’m rubbing all over the place....ugh!!!!

Has anyone maxed out there camber adjustments (pushed forward) to help reduce the rubbing?
