i know that the spidertrax spacers are the best, but i don't need an 1" 1/2 spacers and there expensive, so i was wondering if anyone knows were to buy a little 1/4" spacer for my '01 tacoma--thanks

Take into consideration that style of wheel spacer "robs" the lugnuts of 1/4" of threads on the studs. That being said, I used them for a year on an 02 Tacoma without any issues. I did check the lug-nut torque frequently to be on the safe side.

Yeah, I figured it was a tire rub issue.
