Hi everyone. I have a 2015 DCSB TRD Offroad. I just had a few quick questions about these wheels/tires I am looking at. First off the wheel specs I'm looking at:
    • Bolt Pattern:6 x 5.5 in.
    • 16 in. Wheel Diameter
    • 8 in. Wheel Width
    • Offset:0 mm
    • Backspacing:4.25 in.
I'm looking at the BFG AT KO2's at 265/75/16 or sticking with the stock size of 265/70/16 BFG AT KO2's depending on what I hear from you all.

I'm not going to lift for a while I'm just looking for a little bit bigger and wider wheel/tire set up for my stock Taco to look a little bit more aggressive for the time being. Now on to the questions I have for you smarter people than me:

    1. If I got these wheels and went with the 265/75/16's I wouldn't have to worry about rubbing at all, correct?
    2. I read a few different things talking about the gas mileage being 1-2 mpg lower which isn't an issue but how much would the speedometer/odometer be off? Is there any way to fix that so my speedometer/odometer would be correct? (edit: I just read some people with Gen 2's going a little bigger like this actually made their speedometer read correctly, is this an issue with all gen 2's?)
    3. How much will this combo stick out the wheel well compared to stock? (0mm offset, 4.25" bs, 8" wide compared to the stock +32mm offset, 5.25" bs, 7" wide according to the Wheel specs thread on the forum and there's where I get lost when looking at these differences with offsets and backspacing).
    4. If I stuck with the stock size of 265/70/16 and got these new wheels would that hurt anything? Would they stick out at all with the offset, bs, and it being an inch wider?

Thank you all for taking the time to answer these questions in advance.

16x8 with +0mm offset should be 4.5" bs. With 265/75/16, you'll most likely just need to remove the front mud flaps and do some light liner trimming depending on the tires. Some will requite and some won't. Take a look at the overall weight of your wheel and tire package. If it's a heavier setup, you'll take a slight hit in the MPG department regardless of tire size.

Your new setup will sit about 2" wider than stock giving it a flush fender look. Sticking with the stock tire size will not hurt anything whatsoever.

Am I wrong in thinking an 8" wide wheel with zero offset would have 4 inches of backspacing? If so, how?

Yes:p. Your typical 8" wheel will actually measure 9" from edge to edge. The 8" is measured from the inboard and outboard seat.

You're right about the 265/70/17's being C load, I have them and love them. One thing to know is that size is only rated for 8" wheels. I wanted Fuel Beast's but can't because they're a 9" wheel. For now I'm content to run the oem 's but would have liked the upgrade.

9" wide is to much for a 32" tire. Wheels should be in the 7-8" range. Airing down would be more likely to lose the bead at 9" wide anyway. Even if you went 265/75/16, 8" is still the max allowed per spec.
