Hi...I am not all that interested in getting an 1.5" lift from the 5 leaf as my truck is pretty much stock but am interested in getting rid of the axle wrap. For those of you who replaced their crapy stock leaf springs with Wheelers 4 leaf did this cure your axle wrap problem?? My other question would be if i was to go ahead and put the 5 leaf springs on is it necessary to get the kit to adjust the angle on the brake proportioning valve?? thanks

Just installed Bilstein 5100s all around with the wheelers 4 leaf because I wanted to keep stock height, and I STILL had axle wrap. I bolted another u-bolt about 4 inches in front of the axle on the leaf springs and that took care of MOST it, but there is still a slight shudder coming to a complete stop about half the time.

You should adjust the BPV arm the same amount as the amount of lift you end up with. If that is 2", make or buy a bracket to relocate the arm in the upward direction by the same amount so your braking remains balanced front to back.

Wheeler's/Alcan 5-pack leaf springs, OME 881's, de-badged, Jungle Fender Flares, Herculined bed, HomerTaco grille, Anzo headlights, clear corners,
the 5 pack is the way to go if you want to get rid of axle wrap...worked for me. I didn't want to lift either but I hardly notice the difference in height.

a lot of us in the leaf spring group buy earlier this year had the same issue. might find something useful in here
