So you got just under 2’in?
What’s your configuration? Long bed or short? Tow package, Tonneau cover? Anything in the bed?

Yeah from what I can tell it's just under 2". The old springs were shot, but none were broken. But, looking at the old springs they weren't flat. Looked more like a frown.
SO, 2008 trd offroad , double cab. Standard transmission.
Not currently anything in bed other that a rotopax fuel cel. Flip cover over bed. I do have a receiver, but I don't think it actually has the tow package.

I know right? I figure if the Tacoma doesn't get me, the FJ will.

Cool thanks, just curious about lift vs weight.
I was really curious to see what you got out of them since basically no one runs them

I love the FJ. It's just not a daily driver. Although I have been driving it a lot with the Tacoma down. Normally it's a weekend/vacation vehicle. In the winter we usually go up to Beech Mountain and even it the crappiest weather it will go up and down the mountain with no issues.

Next month when I drive to Ft Bragg NC, I'll be able to give you a good assessment of them. I'll be pulling a small U-Haul trailer full of my crap. haha.. If they can make help me get there without falling apart, that's 2 thumbs up. If they can last for 2 years. I'll call it a win!

I was really looking for something that could handle a little extra weight when needed without a lot of lift.
But, I knew going into this to expect about 1.5" - 2" of lift.

I would like to offer my apologies to the original OP. Although it was not my intentions to do so, I have seriously hijacked his old thread.

House springs? Are you talking about the ones I have? Or something else?
After we got the truck back today, we took it out for a spin. It handles much better than the originals. Previously it felt really bouncy in the back for lack of other words. there really isn't much give in the back now.
Also, did you put the tembren bump stops on your truck? Holy crap those things seem huge. I need to get a picture of that too.

This is probably not the best picture, but only one I can find. You can get a good idea of how it sits anyway. This is with airbags. They work pretty well, but running through the woods you always have the concern of puncturing a bag.

The only thing currently in the bed. 4 Gal fuel cel. Doesn't take up much room. Out of sight, out of mind.

Don't even know what I was trying to type!! I went with the wheelers super bumps on mine, again don't get that much weight!! I can't even tell when I bottom out!! Glad you like the feel of them!! I like mine as well, just need to get the shocks revealed at some point!!! Always a work in progress!!

When I have to work out of town, depending on what's going on. I could easily be carrying 500+ lbs in the bed. No problem.
And I'm a firm believer in overkill, at least when I can afford it. :benchpress:

I received mine yesterday and they are going in today. The overload spring is reverse arched and double thick. I'll be shocked if I'm able to bottom it out. if so, I'll be installing upgraded bumpstops as well.
