Ok, FYI, I am starting my beef jerky today which will be my contribution to the get together. Unsure if I will be wheeling or not at this point. My Jeep buddy is bringing an Easy Up to share as well.

So far I only plan on making peppered jerky and Jamaican Jerk jerky. I will have snack bags for people. If anyone wants to PM me more details so I do not have to catch up on this whole thread, it would be GREATLY appreciated.

 

It's mostly BS some guys went to Rowher a few times and no one can wait for the 25th to come.

I met the guy with the silver Tacoma and told him about TW. He was invited this morning but said he's not free until next weekend.

It's a nice truck. TRD Pro wheels with KO2's I believe. Icon Stage 3, and he installed a dope on board air set up with a tank.

 

I keep wishin I could find someone to install a tank and compressor where the old spare used to be...

 

I'm talking to @Yotamac about it right now. He's going to tell me what to order and then I'm having him do the install. Hopefully next week because I have my locker install scheduled for the 23rd.

Oh yeah.. and my rear bumper and sliders are being delivered on Wednesday

I used to want a new rear bumper then settled on likely holding off until I cage the rear and just do something simple then. Although I'm scoping this thread out : https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/bored-clerks-rear-bumper-build.421454 and other than the swing out arms this thing is pretty slick.

Sorry to report I got SUPER lazy today and did not follow through. I guess that means it will be fresher on the 25th. Also, that will mean I am going to make a full batch. It is just depressing when 12 pounds of beef yield 3 to 4 pounds of jerky.

 

Just put in station 151.625 and push to talk

 

We have been using HAM channel 151.625 on the last couple trips. One of us will show you before we head out.
