Definitly the 3" lift. I have the Donahos up front only, same truck as yours but long bed. As far as rims, i haven't gotten that far yet. Good luck though, that should look good!

Could it have something to do with your rim's back spacing? Ive seen and heard of most of the people with the same lift as i have running 285/70/17's

Call Pro Comp, they can steer you in right direction. If you have no lift, stick to the 31" size tires and you'll have no rubbing.. Been looking and dicussing this with some friends and local techs. since I also don't want any trouble when I install 3" lift with some new skins... i would like to find a tire that would fit the BBS TRD wheel that Toyota has available, it's an 18" wheel and I'm just trying to locate a decent tire company that will fit that.. As for the lift ??'s, All these guy's on here have some real good knowledge and it seems that the Toytech, Revtech, Tuff country, Donahue, pro comp, Fabtech, etc., etc.... are all good.. It's just how much $$$$ you want to spend..

I have a 2.5 lift on 17X9 pro comp wheels and 275X70/17 copper st tires, they look and run great, however experience little rubbing when making full turn. to fix this i cut small pieces out of where it was rubbing and NO MORE RUBBING!
