    Hello all,

I just wanted to see if anyone has some info on wheels and tires for a 2001 Tacoma Prerunner. I am currently running the stockers for now. I wanted to see if a set of 15" wheels and some 31" or 32" tires would fit.?

I doubt you will be able to use 15 inch wheels. I do not think they clear the brakes. A 31 inch tire is only one inch bigger than stock, so it should fit just fine. You will need to watch the width of the tire. This will affect the backspacing you will need on your wheels.

you CAN use a 15", as long as the backspacing is right, im running 15X8 MT Classic II wheels and 31x10.50x15 BFG all terrains, so find my pic thread and you can go from there, i have a lift and wish i had gone at least 32 if not 33

blue led headlights, 285/75/16 grabber AT2's, custom pedals, custom shifter, flowmaster 40 series muffler, bedlinered fender flares, 2.5" lift kit via shackles and spacers, custom exhaust out the back, chrome exhaust tip, and Herculined bed, Weathertech floormats, Cabelas Trail Gear Camo Seat Covers ... Nice thing was I got the truck for $4000
You can also run 15" wheels without the proper backspacing if you grind down the caliper a little bit
