Wheels for 07 Tacoma

Hi everyone first post here, sorry if I end up posting this in the wrong place.

I'm looking for some new wheels for my Tacoma that won't break the bank. I found some dumb cheap 2017 Mitsubishi Lancer stock rims 5x114.3 16 inch rims. The set is pretty much brand new for $200 all 4. My Tacoma is a 2007 regular cab 2wd. Do you guys think these stock lancer rims will fit?

It will fit as long as your Tacoma is a 5 lug. Not sure about the backspacing difference between the Tacoma wheels vs Lancer wheels which would affect how far out the tire will sit. Keep in mind you will also need a new set of 16" tires since Tacoma 5 lug are 15 inches.

 

My Tacoma is a 5 lug, the back spacing is what I'm a bit worried about. I was planning on 245/75/16 or 265/70/16. Was hopping to get an AT tire since I'm off the road a lot for work.

 

I'm not sure if the Lancer wheel would be the right width for a 265/75/16 tire. An 16x8" wheel would be ideal but being a 5 lugger, you also may need a small lift for the right fitment of that tire size. I would pass on the lancer wheel and go with a 16x8 wheel with a backspacing of 4.5" and address the lift, if needed first, since I think 5 luggers rear leaf packs are below the axle so the lifting options are different than 6 luggers.
