    More particularly is this too good to be true and is this set the only black set as it seems more glossy then others I have seen.

    The brand is listed as KT, the part number is listed as 1428 (wrong) and as you pointed out they are gloss when they should be matte black. They are most likely Chinese knock offs. I would avoid them.

    Buy from a reputable source, Olathe Toyota has good prices and supposedly gives TW members discounts. Cheapest price I've seen on the genuine OEM wheel:

    Good choice on wheels though, as they are light for 17s at 25lbs, which translated to better power and mpgs. Just be sure to pair it with a C-load tire, and avoid the heavy E-loads.

    They are probably knock-offs at that price, not OEM wheels. So yes, too good to be true.

    Knockoffs, specs say 8" width. Looked at them earlier today thinking it might be a sweet deal, not.
