So a weird one here, I'm sitting around 3400 miles on the truck and normally have no issues other than the trans stuff and the lower control arm howl...

I was doing some normal driving today on a regular route and out of no where I started to get a speedcentric sort of clap and it felt like something was hitting the firewall under my feet. Stopped at soon as I was allowed to (perimeter of an active runway) and found absolutely nothing. Put it on the lift and found nothing out of the ordinary except the part identification sticker on my driver side CV axel was coming up.

I don't have a warranty dealer out here in England and the Toyota dealership will only look at my truck if I pay lots of money... Any ideas?

Did one of your fender liners come loose and start flapping in the wind?

Never saw any evidence to lead that way. It just seemed that it was something to do with something wrapped around the driver side wheel or axle because of the sound getting quicker or slower with speed.

Guess i just need to mod some cameras to my wheelwells now...

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Is it speed or RPM that the noise is associated with? If you rev the engine in park, does the noise frequency increase?
