Yeah you pretty much need at least a 3" lift to clear most of the basic stuff out there, and sliders are a must as well. Ive got a 6in lift and sliders so I've had no issues at all. I could use some more skids but as long as your careful and spot when needed, you can get by without

Yeah, I've got a spacer lift and 33" on mine and my sliders and skids get some scratches. I've seen a stock Jeep Cherokee on some worn ATs make it through the gate keepers before, it took a while though and I don't guarantee everything underneath was in the same condition by the end. Making that turn around the gate is probably the most difficult part I've been through.

I zip right through it like nothing. 6in lift on 35s, locker, atrac... crawler mode

Hey folks, I'm heading out to Tahuya (or maybe Walker Valley) this Saturday, probably from 10ish am until 1pm. I've been out of commission for a while with a broken foot and this will be my first time back out. I'll be bringing my 2 sons along, one is heading off to Chicago for college next week and he wanted to "see some shit" before he left. If anyone is interested, lmk.

I'd be down to head back out next Saturday, I've been laid up for over 2 months, I'm antsy as hell to get back into the mud, put me on the list.

I would love to go but can't this weekend or next.

Just a heads up, some Youtubers are hosting an event there trying to gain some clout on Sunday. Could be traffic and conga lines all throughout the park.

Was out there today, it is dusty as hell! It was so dry, my son spilled water on the ground and you could even tell, just dust poofed up. I did get one nice pic of the rear wheel off the ground.

Whats not true? I've been out there a dozen times, once with my first Tacoma on stock suspension, couldn't clear the rocks at the gate, along with three other rigs stock and they couldn't clear either. Maybe you should elaborate on your comment and not just say "not true at all"

I've been there when I was stock, with other stock 3rd gens, very doable. All of us went over the rocks at the entrance, no damage.

Yeah Walker is definitely more hard-core, but if you can get past the gate, most trails are doable, with the exception of a few extreme trails

Yeah Walker kept my long time Washington father away from wheeling there because he didn’t know about trail/gate keepers since he stopped wheeling trails when he was a younger adult. Called a friend about it after lol.

I still am interested in taking on that gate and the trails. Since its a bit closer to me, does anyone keep a thread for that?
