where are the most salvage yard tacomas found in the country?

yep, I have been seeing them on craigs list under "San Francisco area" search but so far they haven't replied to emails so i guess they are just there to advertise their phone numbers. since i finally found the "corredt" car-parts.com i have been using the lists there to see the major players in parts and who has the most reasonable (close to average) prices.

as for the above place i was talking about (landress auto in florida), I passed on them and would not recommend doing business with them, the girl started getting pissy with me for asking for combined shipping on the panels or maybe driving down to pick them up so i decided not to do business with them. i don't need attitude from a place im looking to spend hundreds of dollars at.

I found another place in Alabama using car-parts.com called Graham's auto 205-668-3441 that was nice polite and has good prices but they are a small mom and pop first gen Toyota only wrecking yard so they don't work weekends but they only want $100 per door panel and estimated $40 shipping and combined shipping of $60 for both but that's still "yet to be confirmed" until after she gets them pulled and boxed for shipping. its a non public a access yard so they only let people order parts and pops takes the parts off and brings them to you so people don't damage other good stuff just to get what they need.

 

Can you give me a little detail on the Asheville Toyota Yards? I need an engine bay wiring harness for a 90 4Runner 3.0...and what I need is the engine control harness.

I've used MST Recycling, which contains pictures of the Tacoma's they have. This is valuable because in general you can see an image of what you're getting. In addition you can match up interiors.

im still waiting on that place in Alabama, i know they had the door panels but I was busy and forgot to call them today so i'll call in the morning and if they don't have everything else i wanted, i'll call the places in the link.

 

If any of you Cali folks find a 2nd gen Radiant Red (3L5) double cab, I need a passenger side rear door (with or without internals) and am looking for color matched front and rear bumpers.

I just wanted to give more follow up info on the row52 website.

after a full weak I got no response what so ever on a request for door panels, power mirrors, door wiring harness, power door locks, or power door switches from 01-04 taco, so not a single item on that list did anyone reply they had, or could get, so it looks like its not worth anything for getting help finding parts.

oh well just wanted to let you guys know not to bother with them.
