    I got a pelican little ed flashlight and mounted the charger base inside the center console... I can post pics later if anyone wants to see them.

    I mount mine d-cell on the underneath of the lid of the center console. Fits pefect. Then my XD .40 with the tac-rail light and laser sits below it in the console. :)

    is one clip enough to hold it steady? and did you put backing behind the plastic panelling? did everyone just use the supplied screws through the plastic?

    I used the screws that came with the mounts. I didn't use any backing just screw into the plastic.

    Here is mine a Coast P17 LED 3 D batteries 210 Lumens. Using the stock maglight holders and self tapping screws, I just screwed them directly into the plastic.

    I carry a Mag lite (small one) in the glove box, what is the purpose of such a large lite? not being a smart A$$ but are they also used as a "Club"? (not a bad idea,) just wondering. I am not sure I would like to put screws in the plastic but if it holds should be OK, Doc
