I keep going back and forth on how i want to handle the saggy suspension on my truck, AAL or bags. I also like how you installed the center console grid, i might do that instead of the velcro. Do i spy an M&P in your center console?

    Thanks.

Yep. It’s a 9 compact. Fun little gun.

Anything you do to stocks springs is basically just a bandaid. They are an extremely weak link.

The set up I have now works pretty well. I’d still like to take the rear up another inch or so eventually though.

The TSB spring + add a leafs + block were ok with the soft top but as soon as the shell went on, that extra little bit of weight was too much. The Firestone’s help a ton to restore the height and ride quality.

Ideally, a good heavy duty aftermarket spring pack is the way to go, and I plan on doing this once I decide which one to go with.

If I were you, I’d go add a leaf first since it’s a cheaper option. If may give you that little boost you’re looking for.

    Quick little update.

Coupla pics from the past weekend’s trip. Explored a bunch a new national forest roads and found another great spot for a campsite.

I ordered another awning for the truck today. A small 4’x6’ to go across the back of the shell to cover the tailgate. Slowly piecing the items to make this truck the ultimate weekend rig.

Installed the new rear shock today.

Went with B110 5100s as the normal 5100s were over 2” too short for the current suspension.

One was blown out and the other is getting soft. Their destruction is my fault since they were too short for the amount of lift.

Had to temporarily “modify” the brake lines to get a little more slack in them at full droop. Spaced the bracket up a bit and bent it as well to get about another 1.5” of slack in the lines.

This’ll work until I get longer lines.

Pretty happy with the droop now considering I’m still using a stock leaf pack as a base.

The truck rides soooo much better now. I guess I just got used to how shitty the truck road before. I kinda just assumed it was from the air bags being inflate so much.

It’s amazing the difference the correct length shocks make.

    Thanks.

    I can.

It’s super simple. The underside of my crossbars have a channel just like the inside rails in our beds. I used some L brackets and Unistrut nuts just like how you’d mount something to the bed rails.

I don’t have any good photos on my phone, I’ll get more when I get a chance.

This kinda gives you an idea.

If you slide the seat forward all the way, then slide it 8 clicks back, that’s the forward limit it’ll slide.

How much of a pain was the intermediate shaft? i have a feeling that's going to need changed on my truck sooner than later.
