I have a 2014 Taco Access Cab. I was in the process of installing a Scan Gauge, and as I'm ready to plug it in, I could not locate the Diagnostic Port under the dash. My '10 FJ had one under the driver's side footwell.

Any ideas guys??? As always, thanks for the help...

On the topic of the ultragauge/scangauge, my truck is a 2014 as well. It has the auto-dimming mirror with compass, but not the temp gauge. Do you know if it would be wired for temp gauge? Or will I have to add a sensor. My truck is SR5 Canadian issue. Thanks for your time.

My 14 Taco is not wired for the outside temp gauge, nor does it have the compass or auto dim. From what I've learned, none of the '14s have the temp feature anymore. Trolling this Forum, I found Gerry in Michigan that sells Gentex mirrors so we can add the temp feature to our 14's, but I'm not sure how you'd integrate it into your current mirror.

Check this tread out for more info: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2n...mp-sensor-install-2014-off-road-pictures.html

The scangauge/ultra gauge devices will give you the option of displaying intake air temperature. I find that the intake air temp is within ~1°-3° above ambient. Just another option for you. Of course, if you're sitting in traffic, idling, with the sun beating down...intake air temps will rise and readings will be skewed, but will return to ~ambient once you get moving again.

    Or you could do this...

Thanks guys, I will read your links. My desire for external temp reading is due to where I live. I want to know when temps are approaching freezing. A lot of our late fall and early spring days temps are hanging around freezing, and I do like to know when I have to be a little aware of roads turning slippery. After driving in it for years you kinda get too used to it and it can catch you unawares.
