Yes , what's the advantage of a huge stinger ?

from what I have gathered, its there to protect the front end (mainly the radiator) during a rollover.

They are goofing looking....IMO on our trucks, but to each his own. I like a light hoop about as tall as the hood, and no taller.

^^Exactly. Made popular by the short wheel base Jeep. The tended to roll more so with one of those and a rear roll bar..you could often just flip her back over and be okay for the most part.

Hoops are the only way to go on our trucks..stingers just don't fit..

fun stuff coming soon! New battery, radiator and CV joints and axles. Added some Rancho RS5000 shocks.
if i ever get one, im definitly getting the hoop. added deer protection, hopefully to stop them from going up and over the hood. plus for off roading, the back roads around here can get overgrown sometimes.

    plus i like the look.

btw whats the difference between a hoop and stinger?

Stingers are one bend and are tall and pointy; hoops are two bend are are shorter

Light hoop (on an Addicted offroad bumper):

I just don't.. Maybe because it's on my truck and I'm use to seeing it? I think Adam who built it could have done a better job in sense of keeping the winch fairlead tucked in closer and opening a slight amount of approach angle. Who knows.

The TG low profile lightbar can be mounted to match the lines of the grill. It just depends on the angle you mount it at. I have mine tilted forward quite a bit so it doesn't match the grill angles exactly but if it was more vertical then it would.
