    CarPro CQUARTZ UK 3.0 gets my vote. I’m also in a salt belt, hence why I went with CQUARTZ. That being said, I apply my coatings myself, so if you’re paying a detailer to apply a coating there will be other deciding factors such as warranty and maintenance recommendations

    Plumbers putty is ineffective. It does not have abrasives in it needed to remove contaminants. Not to mention it is a bit oily.

    Don’t cheap out and get the proper tool for the job. Most people will use a detail spray for lube.

    very happy with my opticoat, never had an issue with it but i also maintain like a mad man.


    just dont do chemical guys, please.
