Are they projectors (H4 only refers to the bulb seat) ?
How many bulbs go in them?
Do you have a link or picture of your new housings?

Retrofit refers to putting hid projectors in non projector housings. HID's should really only go in projectors for street use. Otherwise you will most likely offend other drivers and possibly get ticketed.

Don't think you can put projectors in the 7x6 style light housings, as you can't separate the front lens from the rear, at least that's how mine were. There may very well be some now that separate, I did mine years ago.

They do have projector 7X6 housings. Mine is not, so I guess I may need to get them. I will have to look into that. This is a sample of the 7X6 projector housings that will fit. Not the ones I might buy.

By the way, thanks to all of you for your input. I really do appreciate it all. Looks like I have more research ahead of me!

Those look exactly like the ones I had in my Nissan. I had the low beam only version bulbs, and they were pretty impressive.

Retrofitting means taking apart your lights and installing actual HID projectors. This will yield the best results and is the only "right" way to do it. Just general projector lights you get on ebay, etc. aren't the greatest. And they use halogen projectors and not HID projectors, there is a difference.

Additionally, if you already bought different lights that use 2 different bulbs, I would highly recommend against using HID's for the high beam, as others eluded to.
