That's exactly what I'm trying to do. Like em at w a good amount of angle and as close as to the body I can get w/out interfering with the cab body

Ha! Just realized we have the same name. Anyways, I mocked mine up and it seems like I'll be taking around 6" off. Not 100% sure though. Here's some pics. A little tight to body so might cut 5".
When are you planning on doing yours? Can't wait to see pics!!

Looks good there! Wanted to prep and paint today but it was a bit cold and rainy. Hoping to get them installed later this week

Yea, weather plays a big factor when painting. Since we're mounting them close to the body, it's def a good idea to paint before installed on the truck. It'd be a pain to paint once they're on the truck. Might mount them off center. Liking that way (see pic) also how much clearance when u open the doors? Mines at .5" lol. Super tight! Again gonna make a few adjustments and gap everything accordingly.

.5" is close! Not sure of angle yet, but you're probably not far off

    I recommend more clearance 0.75"-1"
Mud, ice, snow, etc. can accumulate on the sliders impeding opening or closing the doors.
ALSO, make sure you have enough clearance between the sliders and the rocker panels to allow for body & frame flexing. Otherwise, they will bang together until they self 'clearance' - that's what happened when we put them on my brothers Taco.
    Good luck!

Thx for the advice and good points. I will do an inch from doors and take body roll into consideration.

I finally got some pictures of how mine are welded to the frame. But they're not the TG sliders you guys purchased. They're the ones I showed you in Post 3. Still perfectly happy with them.
