Got these that I want to slap in the truck and see how they do. Is there a specific L/R application? Both have same part number on strut. Thanks

Try measuring the springs or looking for a P/N on the coils. I believe there are two part numbers for the coils. The longer and/or more preloaded (less distance between coil turns) goes on the driver side - which you probably know since you're asking the question :)

they both look the same to me, nothing majorly different that would indicate L/R

The difference is in the coils. The paint code is the red/blue and red/green paint splotches on coils. Mine are 2015 and the color code is different. You will need to know the year they came from and someone should be able to check there's. Or maybe Toyota might have a clue.

As pictured above L=blue dot, R=green dot not sure which one is which side

I will have to start peeking under trucks I guess until I find out. These should have come off a truck 2012 ish or so I believe.

They will only go in one way. The 3 studs at the top will only allow the eyelet on the bottom to align one way.

Well you can turn the top hats for any alignment you want when assembing, but when they're already assembled good luck trying to turn it lol.

Not after they are already assembled, unless you take them apart.

I may be reading too much into the picture but it appears the spring on the left with the blue dot is coiled just a tad tighter (more preload). So I am going to guess that the spring on the left is the drivers side coil :hattip:
