    Tint , Deck Plate, debadged, Bil 5100's set @ 2.5 up front, Bil 5100 in the rear and AAL. Diff drop. B.A.M.F brake proportioning bracket.
    Ok quick poll and info if you want too. Just ordered my Bilsteins 5100 on all 4 corners. 2" wheelers AAL. Now on to the hard part which springs. I will not be having any extra weight on the front. Ok sorry 1st gen

    OME 3" lift with 885 coils. OME Shocks with TSB 1.5 AAL. 285/75/16 KM2s. XD Hoss 16" wheels. DDM Tuning 6000K HIDs, H10 6000K Fogs. BHLM. Debaged. 20% tint on front windows.
    Set the 5100s at 0 and get OME 881s.

    Eibach's alone give over 3" for a first gen. I wouldn't run eibach's if your not plannin on a bumper and/or winch. It is inevitable that you will blow a cv('s).

    i kinda figured they were like the 2 gens. do they provide 3" exactly a lil more or what?

    For ~3" I'd say 882s for ~2" I'd say 881s with 1/2" top plate spacers.

    Also the first gen billys only have settings for 0, 1.25, and 2.5"

    what about diff drop???

    oh and i thought the only real problem you run into lifting it 3-3.5"s is that the cv boots are to short..... therefore ripping/tearing them when you flex therefore letting dirt into cv's and ruining them.

    please let me know if im wrong

    I did order the diff drop also. Just went to toytech website and they say they are out of stock with eibach's.

    Diff drops help at 3" (on 99% of first gens) but for me at least they don't totally cure vibes. There are still some that I get at 55ish but it's no big deal. You are correct though it's really the boots not the shafts. The fins of the boots rub against eachother until they rip themselves apart. Sometimes they will rip off when flexing as well. Keep in mind every truck is different. Some won't have any cv boot issues at 3" with no diff drop, some will not be able to handle a true 3" lift whatever you do.

    That'll help with the fins but I can't imagine it helping with what you were describing as stretching out the boots until they slide off. However from what I've heard the boot slide mod has worked well for everyone who has done it. I'll probably attempt it next time I have to change a boot

    getting there....
    Just my opinion......but the 5100's aren't a good combo with the 881 coil. I ran the setup for a while,and after around 18k miles.....got some nitrochargers. To replace the 5100's....good to go now.

    X2 if your going to run 5100's get Eibach coils if you want 881's get OME nitrochargers.
