Decision made, called my tire guy today to tell him to order up the BFG AT KO 285/75/16's, the Ultra Drifters are sitting here in boxes waiting on their rubber! Now all I need is a Christmas vacation for install!

I've got silent armors on, they are great tires compared to other wranglers. Your tire depends on what you want them for though. If I hadn't got a deal on these tires, I would have went with BFG ATs they look good, do good in everything and wear well. Silent armors, we'll see.

I've never been unhappy with a set of BFG AT's.

Never had an issue with Firestone, either the A/T or the M/T. Very good tires.

LOL...We actually mounted one of the front wheels/tires last night to check for wheel fit over calipers and clearances....no way to run them before lift is installed...but Toyota had a dualie developed.....

I reported a while ago that I put a set of Rugged Terrains on our 2008 DCLB 4WD, with good first impressions at the Baja 1000.
Now that we've had some rain in S.D., I can report that they are quite good in the wet. Better than the Toyo A/Ts I previously had - which were good, better than BFG ATs.
After reading comments on "strange looking", I stood back and looked again - don't see a problem -265/70/17 @ 35psi.
