I agree about no bussines will ever be perfect, but that incident still makes me hesitant. I live a freeway exit away from CV and I’m thinking I’ll take my Taco to frank for the service. I also still have a bad taste in my mouth from them when I was shopping for my taco. Their numbers even after an hour were laughable so I went elsewhere.

A lot of guys vouch for that guy Eddy so I’m sure he’s good to go, that thread still just leaves me a bit hesitant tho

Bought mine from El Cajon as well. Sales rep was okay, but they worked with me on a trade in and mostly felt fair.

Hands down, for service Santee Toyota Service Center. They are an extension of the El Cajon dealership, but far less busy and seem to get you in and out usually pretty quick. They always seem to "have a coupon" but they arnt afraid to charge less to get your business. Scott & Bill have been there for years and are very laid back. They will give you fair opinions on any maintenance recommendations.

Went back to El Cajon dealership a week later and had some add-ons that were ordered came in and had them installed there. I had to get ahold of this guy in charge of scheduling (James/Jessie can't remember his name) and he was alright but kinda made you feel like anything you ask is bothersome. For now, ill stick with service/parts at the Toyota Service Center of Santee.

As for buying I wouldn't buy from Mossy Toyota because their prices are all marked up $5k. As for service. Brian at Mossy Toyota is top notch. I even have his personal number if any of you guys are interested just PM me and I will provide his info. He is one of the head service managers and just a cool dude every time I have seen him. Him and Alfonso took care of my 3rd brake light leak and transmission TSB without any issues whatsoever.
I have sent about 5 other Tacoma guys to Brian who also had the transmission TSB done and many other non tacoma owners for regular service.

Had an incredible buying experience at Frank. Just went for my first 5k service and they were done in a reasonable time and overall I didnt have any issues.

I had a great experience purchasing at norm reeves Toyota, got my voodoo blue trd pro from Austin. Literally called in that morning and told him I what I wanted and drove down that afternoon from long beach and left with my truck. As for service my dad has been servicing his 2011 Tacoma with this dealer since the truck was new. He pays for his services to get done since Toyota service prices are CHEAP. We only had an issue once when they damaged my dads truck and his advisor was trying to dodge him but once I called in to Toyota USA I got a call back from the GM to bring the car is and get it repaired. That kinda left a bad taste in my mouth but it was taken cared of and Austin hooked me up with my PRO so I guess we're good now.

Had a good experience with Toyota of orange and their service department. Avoid Larry h Miller Corona like the plague, plain garbage for service and a ripoff for everything else

I just bought from Toyota Carlsbad last Friday and highly recommend them to anyone. My salesperson was Emily and my finance guy was Aaron. Emily was awesome, never pushy or tried to up-sell or put me in something I didn't want/would overextend me. She was willing to play ball on my trade-in and negotiating. Aaron got me a killer interest rate; I was pre-approved through Navy Fed but I couldn't pass up on what his/Toyota's rate. Every person I encountered there was nice, super friendly, and professional. I can't speak for the service department obviously, but I plan on going back there for my first service when it's due. Hope this helps!

I had a shit buying experience (there was an attempt) at Carlsbad. So far service has been generally fine. Long wait sometime, but decent otherwise.

Shouldn't matter to much who you go to for a 15K, they barely do anything, mostly just poke around looking for stuff.
