Which web-based e-mail service do you use?

Gmail moves past AOL as No. 3 web e-mail service in U.S.


Google’s Gmail is now the third-largest Web e-mail service in the U.S., surpassing AOL e-mail with 37 million monthly unique users, according to new comScore estimates for July 2009 via TechCrunch.
That puts Gmail second only to Windows Live Hotmail, with 47 million unique users, and Yahoo! Mail, with 106 million unique users. (In comparison, AOL counts 36.4 million unique users.)

It was only a bit more than a month ago that Google’s e-mail service finally removed its longstanding “beta” label. The new comScore estimates mark a sea change: Gmail’s unique visitors grew 25 percent this year, while AOL’s declined 22 percent in the same period.
In comparison, Hotmail grew just 8 percent during the same period, while Yahoo! Mail increased unique visitors by 16 percent.
That puts Google Mail in striking distance of Microsoft’s Hotmail.

I also have a Yahoo account, but I ditched it for Gmail. It's more fun to use.

 

i have a yahoo that is my primary, but also an aol since i have aim. i also have work email too

 

I didn't think it was possible. But after 4 years with my gmail account I actually used up all the 7GB of space they give you.

Lots of videos & big files. I'm in the process of cleaning out the account. Down to 95% full.

 

I have Yahoo mail beta, and a backup secret gmail account.

yahoo....the adress I wanted wasnt avaible on gmail...idk there were other people with the same name

 

I have 2 gmail accounts, 1 for spam mail, and 1 for my family,friends, ect.

I also have a hotmail account that i have had for probably 7 years. I use it for msn messenger.

 

Have my work email. And then for personal I use my internet providers which is Comcast, and use Windows Live Mail to manage it. Also have a gmail and yahoo that don't really get used.

1 gmail account for people I like - 1 hotmail account for those I don't.

Interestingly enough, my school just switched their entire campus, all students, teachers, alumni, to gmail. You still have a username@university.com, but it is accessed through a gmail service.

hotmail..hotshmail..have it, never use it. Yahoo...shmahoo.. have it, never use it.
