I'll be putting a panasonic cd player/head unit into my truck. I just ordered a scosche dash kit off Amazon. What kind of wiring harness should I get so that the my system is compatible with a panasonic? Or are the plugs for head units pretty standard as long as its good to go for a toyota? Thanks in advance, and sorry if this is a dumb question!

Dumb questions are the one's that are never asked.

Any wiring harness that says it's for your year/model toyota will work. You just have to match up the wires on the new harness to the ones on the radio it's very easy. I'm sure there is a write up/sticky in the audio section on how to do it. Just search and I'm sure you can find it. <----I'm not trying to be a smartass either.

    Edit: Here's one I found http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/audio-video/571-stereo-upgrade-basic-how-2nd-gen.html

Walmart carries the Scosche audio accessories and wiring harnesses in my area.

You can also get them at Best Buy.

If you pay more than $10 it's too much IMO. Most are in the $7 range.
