I just installed my 265/75/16 Duratrac's and ATX Teflon Chambers. I love the combination and the new look of the truck, but am torn about whether the white letters should be left out. (I usually love white letters, but with this color combo... I am not convinced). What do you guys think?

Option 1: Leave the white letters out.

Option 2: Put the black letters out.

Option 3: Be original and find a way to "grey" the letters out... somehow. i kinda like this... hmm.

There are larger images in my album for closer inspection. I just didn't want to clog the thread with huge pictures in every reply.

Agreed.. do what you like. IMHO, I think the white letters out look fantastic. They add a bit of contrast to an otherwise dark truck. Keep in mind, this is the opinion of someone who doesn't like the "blacked out" look. :D

Other than that, the truck looks great. I'm sure whatever direction you go, you'll be happy with.

White letters out, it adds a bit of sportyness to the truck. I love the blacked out look on most trucks, but sometimes too much black is just too much. Having everything black with the white letters really stands out. That would be my choice, but it's all up to you.

I usually like white letters in, but on your truck, it looks good with the white letters out. It breaks up the truck a little bit, since the wheels are the same color as the paint.

Make them gray somehow, do something different. If you end up messing up just flip the wheel around and have your 2nd choice facing out.

I have the MGM, and don't think I would ever show white letters, think it detracts from the overall muffled look. Do think the grayed out letters looks kind of interesting.

I'm on the fence with this one. 99% of the time I like black out. I am leaning towards white out.

Do white out on driver's side and black out on the passenger side , you'll never see them at the same time and you get the best of both worlds and you will definetly be the only one on here doing it , you might start the next trend ,

Its too dark with the black out and you lose the detail of wheels with black in the tires for me, so I went white out. Only with black wheels of course. Like.

Both white lettering out and black out looks good. I am not a fan of white lettering out due to the fact that it takes a lot of maintanence to keep the lettering white..

I haven't cleaned my tires all winter and the white is holding up though I may agree down the road. Wouldn't this kinda have the idea of greying out the letters.....just dont clean the tires and there you go.
