Of course, but I haven't had much time with working on the house to get the other projects complete.

 

I see you putting walls up and things like that. running conduit to boot. You getting into welding and shit too?

 

I'm into a lot of stuff Stonks lately. Built a workbench with a ton of storage, working on a table saw(1950s cast iron) cart, bought a new 220v welder, picked up a gas bottle, ugh...

I know thats right. IM gonna cross that bridge whenever i need to.

 

Does anyone have any locksmith friends that would be able to sell me new ignition and door lock tumblers/wafers/pins? I will be getting the factory Key cutting code from the dealership for my Land Rover and I would like to rebuild the locks to match the brand new factory cut.

This thing likes to give me damn headaches.. The ultra gauge started screaming about O2 heater circuit malfunctions, p0155 pending no CEL on. Decided with the nice weather I'd tinker on it. Checked the power to the O2 and it was good, checked the resistance across the heater and (incorrectly) read open circuit.

I ordered up a couple OE Bosch sensors and tossed them in when they showed up, fired it up.. And the CEL popped codes for both O2 sensors heater malfunctions.. Checked power again and it's good, checked the new and old heater circuits resistance and they all measure good.. Check the wires from the O2 back to the ECU and those all check out..

Put it all back together and now the passenger side sensor doesn't give any readings.. Flatlined at 0.5v.. Kept messing with it and after much useless reading, I reached under the dash to make sure i plugged the connector into the ECU. Bumped the wires going into the plug(which I had plugged back in before) and got signal bouncing around.

Looks like the connectors in the plug might be a little loose..

 

Just ordered a couple Rover key pinning kits. Let's see if they actually send them and if they are actually what I need...

It was a nice day so I decided to finally get to the headliner. It's FAR from perfect but FAR better than it was and I'm happy with it for what I paid for the vehicle.

 

Segments of the clock were going out, seen this 3d printed clock insert on a UK sight for like $50 "fuck that I'll just print it!" myself. Took a few iterations to get it right and just when I thought I had it... I had the keyed sides backwards... I designed the whole thing upside down and backwards... Lucky it's easy enough to rotate around axis in Fusion360.

 

Got a quote for the rear quarter glass. They said $100 per piece of glass. Not terrible but not worth it right now. It's just the trim filler deteriorating, not the urethane glue.

 

new suspension incoming, ironman4x4 foamcell shocks. Should be a nice improvement over stock. If they ever get here.. Dang Kangaroo post

What's that mysterious grinding noise... Oh I see the silencer pad has worn out. Whoopsies

 

Might have resolved my pending P0155 and P0154. Built a Mr fusion smoke generator and found an exhaust leak at the manifold to y-pipe connection.






Pulled apart the exhaust, put new gaskets in, replaced 2 manifold studs, and no more leak. Now there I've found a leak in each cat.... Gonna leave that for now and see if the pending codes stop popping up.

 

Finally jumping back over to this headliner.. Put new bungee on the map pockets and now need to cleanup all the trim. Should be able to install this weekend and free up A TON of space in the garage. Just to clutter it up with the Y-pipe to try my hand at Lift Tig to seal up the cats.
