Right, learned real quick to pull through to park or back up into spaces and I may not make that tight turn, lol. But cannot beat the bed space when you need it.

I'm thinking of keeping this 2017 tundra for about 4 years. Then sell or trade it for the 4th gen tundra. I would wait until the 3rd model year or later. Sit back and watch everyone complain about issues with the 1st 2 model years on the forums.

Husband has a RCLB, it's 8.1'.. mine is the DC with the 'regular' bed at 6.5'. Then there's the crew cabs with the adorable 5.5' beds..

They must not sell DCLB in Canada I have never seen one up here. We do have SCLB however.

Interesting, they stopped selling the reg cab trucks here. Last one I saw was a 2014.

Low demand for standard cab clearly. Never would I waste money on a single cab.

2015? I'd say that was much earlier, considering it took center stage at NAIAS 2015 (which I attended under JLR).;)

It doesn't look that bad, as I've seen both a photo of a prototype unit from TTAA and tooling unit. Just don't ever expect a V8...at least until 2024 at earliest at best (highly unlikely), if V6 debuts to poor year-to-date sales by December 2022.

Oh ya Jan or Feb of 15, got my time of the year all switched it’s been so long (always finding my slip ups, here and other sites, lol), when they started leaking shots of the front end piece by piece / fuzzy, as a marketing campaign prior to the Chicago autoshow that year. And the mules in 2nd gen clothing running around earlier with exposed drivetrain. Gonna check out your other long but I’m sure killer post here in a bit, as always appreciate the insight. And I’ll hold judgement on the new Tundra since you’ve seen it and think it looks decent, just worried about a weird domestic cross love child Frankenstein looking thing.

Sold my '95 Taco three years ago and got the '13 Tundra DC. I've only got two more payments left.

I sold my 93 toyota 4x4 extra cab pickup for a 2001 4.7 sr5 tundra. I really liked the tundra and its 4.7 v8, even with all the fuel it drank. I would of bought another in a heartbeat if toyota didn't build such a large beast. I ended up going to a 2020 tacoma sr5 access cab. Like everything about this truck except i miss the wider bed.

I’m looking to sell my 2013 Toyota Tacoma Baja series 4x4 because of payload issues when towing my travel trailer. I’m thinking of getting a 2014-2018 tundra crew max 5.7L off road 4x4 can anyone confirm what the payload is on these model truck? My Tacoma is only at 1050lbs payload smh.

According to the interwebs its 1560#. I have a double cab 2018 Tundra TRD OR and its rated 1630# depending on which website you look at (my truck is at work, cant read the sticker for you). Ive towed my 8k# tractor and trailer and the thing barely squatted an inch or so, doesnt move with the 5500# travel trailer and WDH, tongue weight is not much though, only around 550 or so but dont hold me to that.
Edit: saw youre on the tundra forum already so disregard

Seriously considering getting rid of my '17 DCLB taco when the new tundra comes outs... I miss having more power and space.
Definitely will be going with the longer bed if I do it.
