Google and enter your specs. Youll lose payload based on the tank size, 4x4, crewmax, and any other options bolted on. You got plenty on the Tundra post, if you search payload a pile of posts pop up on there. Its been beat to death and changes depending on who you ask. I dont have my truck at home and cant check the sticker but I have a double cab so it’ll be a higher #.

I just recently switched from my 2003 SR5 TRD Xtra cab 4x4 to a 2018 Crewmax 4x4 TSS (gulf states package). I freaking love it. Don't get me wrong, I love my Tacoma, but the Tundra is a beast compared. We still have the Tacoma and will be selling it soon.

I’m thinking on trading in my 2017 Tacoma 4dr Off Road (42k) for a Tundra. I too need the room and a 4 door crew max is the way to go. I’m just stuck between a 2021 or hold out for the new 2022 redesigned Tundra.
    Decisions.....decisions.....

    Mostly dust and dirt.
Better get a Tundra while you can. Seems Toyota is going to go the Ford Everything Turbo route.

I’m in the same boat as the OP was. I love my Tacoma, but it’s too small for the family. I’m looking at Tundras at the moment and want to make the switch.

Had twins last year and the Tacoma was no longer big enough for our family and two dogs. Loved the Taco to death, but sacrifices had to be made. Totally worth it though!
    RIP Taco.

T100s are my favorite trucks. Far better than the Tacomas in terms of usability and comfort.

I am actually considering a new tundra vs a taco now.. the lack of rear space, really shys me away from getting a smaller truck. I don’t think you’ll have any gripes if you pull the trigger

Didn't switch, I still have my Tacoma but picked up "Stretch" DCLB to haul my FWC Granby. Alcan leaf pack, ADS 2.5's.

Thanks Marz. I had the truck weighed empty (front axle/rear axle) on stock suspension, then had it weighed with the camper installed (still stock) and sent the weights to Alcan. They were back in touch within hours with specs and cost for new springs. It was a 7-8 week wait which is normal. I'm in Fallon, NV so they're only 10 hours from me so instead of paying shipping I drove to them and they did the install. Great people to work with in my opinion and the springs did exactly what they said. I have nothing but good things to say about their work.

Good to know. I'm sure I'll be needing some customs done as well. Thanks for the info! I guess it's time I finally get my shit weighed.
