Saw that one. Yea cutting required haha. I’m fine with that. I might wait and get the one with a longer option. Just want a place for my tow hitch. Same with storing behind the seat. Used some Velcro straps to tie some things. Works for now until I get a bed cover and side molle.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
You most certainly owe it to yourself to try one out. I own both. The tundra is truck, the Tacoma is a grocery getter. One pulls like it has balls and will tow, the other will
dog out if you load it down with gear or tow.
If you’re a small guy the taco works, if you’re 6’2 260lbs, it’s pretty damn comical. I own the Taco out right and it gets driven occasionally. The tundra sees use everyday.
I think you know where I am going with this. You need to get one, that way you will experience it for yourself. Go with your gut.
I will probably be letting the Taco go soon enough for something I can use as a dd, preferably awd as I live in the middle of the forest.

Also, I need to add that my heavy built taco gets about the same gas mileage as my tundra. So there is that. Mine has the 4.6l which works for me, I do like the 5.7l as well. I just got this truck for a smoking deal and wanted a RCSB.

You were banned due to Keanu impersonation. We just can't have that.

I wanted to give everyone an update been driving my 21 tundra for a few months now and I absolutely love it. The Tacoma is a great truck as well but I cannot fathom how anyone can go from tundra to Tacoma

I just bought a 2001 Tundra 4.7 TRD with topper, 135K last weekend. Sold my 2001 Tacoma SR5 TRD with 253K which I have owned since 2008. The Taco sold to the first Craigslist buyer. I will post a pic of the Tundra tonight.

Really climbing the ladder :). First replacing spark plugs with Denso's for the CO. emission test. Then replacing the Tacoma wheels with 2003 Toyota Tundra/Sequoia 17" OEM wheels & Toyo AT3.

sold my 2011 tundra and picked up a 2016 ram 2500 diesel. ram was a great truck, shouldve never sold it. was sitting on 4 vehs including 2014 rubicon. felt like a hoarder so i sold all of em and purchased my taco with 5000 miles on it in 2017. Tundra never did it for me for some reason. sold it to a buddy of mine who is a guide and he beat the livin crap out of that thing for several years.

I want a Tundra badly. Already own the 4.7L 100 series Land Cruiser, and love the V8 powa. Might sell the LC for a Tundra one of these days.

When I got my brand new 23 SX package V6, my jealous uncle got angry. He dumped his old Tundra and got brand new one, TRD off road one too .

This just tells you why Tacoma is better than Tundra. ( other than that Tundra is weak in pretty much everything compared to other BIG trucks )

Not to mention both have almost same size bed lmao... Tundra can tow like what, 3K more? such a rip off xD. 2010 Ford trucks could tow more than that.

Tundra is what happens when Toyota tries to compete with RAM, FORD, GMC..
