I traded in my 2022 TRD OR Tacoma for a 2021 SR5 4WD. I wanted the better tow, seating, and payload capacities. I wish I could have kept both trucks, but don’t regret the upgrade.

And you may tell yourself, this is not my light nimble rig.
And you may tell yourself, this is not my trail worthy truck

And you may ask yourself, Am I wright, am I wrong?
And you may ask yourself, My God, what have I done!?

I sold my '14 Taco for a '24 Tundra and am loving it. I do miss my Taco since I did lots of mods to it with lots of help from those here on TW. It'll be a new journey for the Tundra.

Took the plunge yesterday on a new 2024 Tundra TRD Pro. Passed down my beloved 2004 TRD Tacoma (avatar) to my Son.

Welcome to the club! I’m loving my 24 Tundra since I’ve had it about a month now. Great upgrade with space and bells and whistles (although some of those are not that great. All the constant beeping about things being one of them)

I have a '19 that I was able to turn a lot of nanny crap off with Carista, not sure what you can do with a '24.

Such a mix of emotions on my transition from Tacoma to Tundra. Traded in my '17 OR with 150k on the odo for a new '24 Tundra (Limited OR). Tundra is super nice, so many fancy features, loads of power, and the family loves it. I'll have fun doing my mods to make this "mine" but I sure do miss all the upgrades I had done to the Tacoma and realize there are a few trails / campsites I love that the Tundra will be too big to make it to...

That '17 Tacoma was a PIA the first year or 2 with all the recalls and TSBs and nearly drove me to trade it multiple times, but once I got through that, it was a trouble free, solid truck with little to worry about for the last 6 years.

It was hard trading a perfectly running Tacoma for a Tundra that has 100,000 engines being replaced... but the power and space in this Tundra are incredible. Toyota will stand behind it, that I know, I just hope I got luckier waiting 3 years after a new gen to buy, this time.

I'll likely have another Tacoma once the kids are out of the house... or whatever 1000 mile-range electric truck that's available by then

I'll still hang out, Tundras.com isn't nearly as fun as TW...

Hang in there, it gets better with time... Enjoy the Tundra!

...I still miss my Taco and always will. And I miss having the resources available on TW. "Tundras" is helpful, but very quiet over there...

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
I switched about 2 months ago. Someone side swiped my Tacoma and when shopping for a new one the family pushed for more interior space.

I knew there would be more space, but until seeing the kids in their seats with ours adjusted, I didn’t realize how much extra space there was.

Insanity. I bought a two year old 2018 TRD OffRoad Tundra for $31,500 with 10k miles clean af in inferno. The dealership that did a recall on it cold called in 2021 wanting to give me almost $50k. I told them to lose my number. Bought mine as the door was closing.

The new Tundras sure are good looking in some trims. A full size truck would be nice. I had a Ram Rebel that I traded for my Gladiator, and sometimes wish I still had it.

The interiors on these high end trucks these days are just amazing. The nicest vehicle I’ve ever been in

I just traded my 2013 Tacoma Off Road with 110k miles in on a 2024 Tundra 1794 with TRD off road. While the new truck is bigger and fancier a little part of me died when I walked away from my faithful taco. I had plans to keep it forever, actually 4 days before I traded it I changed all the gear oil, engine oil, and put new front brake pads on haha, but when they take off nearly $10k from sticker and give me $17k for my Tacoma it was hard not take the deal. I just hope it goes to someone that takes care of it and appreciates it as much as I did. The tires on my new truck look weird because I took the photo in .5 so the edges are distorted, it is not a dually tundra!
